Outreach at the Albemarle County Fair
July 30 – August 1
Join us for this yearly outreach event in the cool barn at James Monroe’s Highland! Join other Guild members and share your love of fiber arts with fairgoers. You don’t have to be an expert, just enthusiastic and willing to engage with the public answering questions and helping children and adults try their hand at weaving or spinning.
We will be demonstrating on Thursday, July 30 from 4 pm–7 pm, Friday, July 31, from 10 am–7 pm and Saturday, August 1 from 10 am–7 pm.
