Intro to Mosaic Crochet Class with Edie Eckman

Learn to create beautiful geometric color patterns using only one color per row. You’ll learn to read a mosaic crochet chart and how to adapt mosaic knitting charts for crochet.
Skill Level: Students should be comfortable with single and double crochet and working into front loops and back loops of stitches.
Cost: $20 CVFG Members, $25 Non-members.
Supplies: Two balls of smooth sport, dk, or worsted weight yarn – one in a light color and one in a contrasting dark color (make sure the color values are light and dark, value is more important that hue); appropriate-sized hook(s) for your yarn.

With color A, loosely ch 20. Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, turn. Row 2: With color B, ch 1, sc in back loop only of each ch across. Fasten off.
