Bluebird of Happiness

Needle-felt your own Bluebird of Happiness!
Bluebirds symbolize happiness and joy, transformation and renewal. Join fiber artist, Donna Westermann, in the creation of your very own Bluebird! In addition to basic needle-felting skills, you will learn about color blending, shaping and sculpting with fiber, and other tips and shortcuts Donna has learned over her many years of needle-felting creativity.
The result will be a happy little bluebird to keep or share, as well as lessons learned to expand your needle felting knowledge.
Class Time/Location: May 14, 2023, 1 – 4 p.m. Eastern, at Peace Lutheran Church, Charlottesville
Skill Level: Beginner
Cost: $35 members, $40 non-members, plus $12 materials fee paid directly to the instructor at class.
Class Size: Max 15 students
Deadline to Register: May 7, 2023, at 6 p.m.
Supplies: Bring only your curiosity and creativity, the rest will be provided for class. If you have a favorite needle holder, bring it along!

About the Instructor:
Donna Westermann has been exploring all things fiber for at least 15 years, she enjoys spinning, knitting, needle and wet felting.
She has been teaching felting classes, workshops and retreats for 10 years. She has much to share.
