November 18:  Fiber Arts Notecard Swap, 1:30 – 3:30pm
Peace Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall
We’ll get together and make our small swatches and samples into beautiful notecards.
Use your imagination: your weaving, knitting, crochet, spinning, tie dye and felting can all be used. The front of the card will be 4.25” x 6” and will need to fit along with your fiber art into its matching envelope 4.75 x 6.5”. Please bring your swatches prepared, cut to size (as appropriate), and finished with fray check as needed. Consider interesting shapes and colors. If you want to bring markers, watercolor pencils, feel free. Also, if you have embellishments like metallic threads, confetti, sequins, feathers, etc. bring what you have and we’ll have a table that everyone can share from.
If anyone is interested, we can do an exchange at the end and trade cards to bring more variety to your set.
There will be a small materials fee of $2 per person that will be collected at the workshop. This will provide 8 blank cards and envelopes per participant and glue.
To register, please email Melanie at programs@cvfg.org.
