MidAtlantic Fiber Association (MAFA) Conference
Held in odd years in the Summer, and generally within easy driving distance of Central Virginia, the MAFA Conference offers a wide variety of workshops in weaving, spinning, knitting, dyeing, felting and other surface embellishment.  As a Member Guild, all CVFG members enjoy early registration at the MAFA-member rate.

Handweavers Guild of America (HGA) Convergence
Held in even years in the Summer, in various locations around the country, Convergence offers seminars, presentations, and workshops in weaving, spinning, dyeing, felting and other textile arts.

New England Weavers Seminar
The conference is held in Summer in odd years, in various New England locations, and offers one-half to three and a half day workshops, speakers, and other events.

Intermountain Weavers Conference
The conference is held in Summer in odd years, in Durango, Colorado. It is 3 days of fun, fabulous classes, activities, and friendship.

Shenandoah Valley Crank-In (for Circular Sock Knitting Machines)
Held in May at Massanetta Springs, near Harrisonburg, VA, this three-day event features informal cranking, classes, mentoring, vendors, and door prizes. Details also on the Ravelry group, or email organizers at kr2409@gmail.com.

Spinning, Dyeing and Weaving workshops at a 5-day conference held in the Spring.
